We invite you to join us in the pristine Mat Su Valley, where we hope to take you on the fishing adventure of a lifetime.

All of our trips start at the Deshka landing on the big Susitna river,  The landing is about 70 miles north of Anchorage.  We will be on the world-famous Deshka river or Alexander Creek.  

Generally we will meet at the Landing early in the morning and decide what river we will go to. Depending on how the charter is going we have several options to give us the best chance to land a big one.   Usually we hang around the mouth and the morning and then head up river for afternoon salmon fishing.

The king season generally runs June 1st to July 13th, and the silver season runs from July 20th to August 30th.  See the Department of Fish & Game site for details.  Last year they opened the Deshka river to eggs and bait early in the season and we are hoping this year follows suit.  This is allowed our early season charters to have an increased chance of success.  Using globs of eggs sitting at the bottom of the river really worked early and often.  We also had some good catches throwing a mag wart around while most other boats were using bait.  Either way we figure to have a really good season again this year,  come see it first hand.
